    We specialize in compact crane hire, contract lifting, and lifting equipment hire, serving businesses and public across the UK. Our services include site assessments, lift planning, and turnkey lifting solutions for everyone.

  • Where do you operate?

    Based in the heart of England – Oakham, Rutland County, we provide nationwide services, covering England, Scotland and Wales.

  • What are your opening hours?

    Our offices are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. We are committed to responding to all enquiries promptly, ensuring you get the assistance you need as soon as possible.

    Our cranes however, operate 24/7, ensuring round-the-clock service for all your requirements. So, it doesn’t matter if you need a lift at night hours, over the weekend or Bank Holidays. Rutland Cranes have got you covered.

  • Do you offer contract lifting?

    Yes! Our contract lifting services include full project management, lift planning, equipment provision, and qualified personnel to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

  • Do you provide crane operators?

    Our crane hire services always include fully certified and experienced operators, ensuring safe and compliant lifting operations.

  • How do I book a crane?

  • Can I set up an account?

    Yes! We offer trade accounts, allowing for a 30-days payments, subject to our terms and conditions and credit checks. The first transaction on your account must be paid via a proforma invoice before standard billing applies.

  • What types of lifting equipment do you offer?

    Our lifting equipment hire includes glass vacuum lifters, crane mats, man baskets, goods cages, gas bottle lifting cages, crane pallet forks, modular lifting beams, machinery moving skates and many more.

  • Can I hire equipment for short-term use?

    Yes, we offer flexible hire options, from one day to long-term hires to meet your project needs.

  • Is your equipment tested and compliant?

    Absolutely! All our lifting equipment is maintained to the highest industry standards and complies with UK safety regulations like LOLER, PUWER and British Standards.

  • How do I get my equipment?

    To arrange lifting equipment hire, simply provide details about:
